Xixian New Area Ursa Major Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. was established in December 2019. It is an intelligent welding integrated solution company with high-margin core products and the supporting unit of Shaanxi Intelligent Robot Innovation Center. With process decision-making models as its core, the company independently developed UMATIC, the industry's first intelligent welding decision-making platform product. Through its holding subsidiary Shaanxi Silk Road Robot Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute Co., Ltd., it launched intelligent welding robots equipped with UMATIC, forming a complete set of intelligent welding equipment and solutions covering core links and different scenarios in industries such as shipbuilding, marine engineering, and heavy steel structures. Currently, it has successfully completed product deliveries to more than 10 leading enterprises in the industry, including China State Shipbuilding Corporation, China Merchants Group, COSCO Shipping Group, China Railway Group, and CIMC Group.
It has the advantages of low cost, long service life, and recyclability. Professor John B. Goodenough, inventor of the battery and Nobel Prize winner, commented that it is "a revolutionary innovation in the field of electrochemical energy storage, completely different from the existing mainstream battery architectures... very suitable for large-scale power station energy storage". It is a long-duration energy storage solution that can replace pumped storage in the current electrochemical energy storage technology routes.
