The 5th Bluetech Campaign Launched, Invite You to Build a BlueSky DreamPost date: 2019-04-15

This year, The 5th Bluetech Award International Clean Air Technology Campaign was lunched in China Environment Expo on 15th April, we are once again calling for applications for the 5th Bluetech Award and seeking the best available clean air technologies to help China tackle its air quality problem.

The “Bluetech Award” is a professional campaign lunched by Bluetech Clean Air Alliance to the development of the best available clean air technology. After five years, the Bluetech Award has received approximately 300 applications from 22 countries. Among all the participants, 25 winners, 12 future stars and 73 finalists have been selected and given the opportunities to widen their China network, demonstrate the excellence of their technologies, and enter China’s vast market through a great variety of matchmaking activities. They have effectively supported China's battle to defend the blue sky and reduce greenhouse gas emissions while expanding their application channels and promoting in the market.

The interested technology categories of the 5th "Bluetech Award" includes diesel engine emission reduction technologies & clean energy substitutes, coal combustion emission control & clean energy substitutes (non-power sector), VOCs substitution and pollution prevention, indoor air pollution control and advanced pollution source and air quality monitoring. A special "Bluetech Future Unicorn" will set up again to identify, foster, and accelerate the future giant of clean technology start-ups. This campaign welcomes all the companies and individuals with ideas or inventions in clean air technology.  

With the continuous expansion of China's garbage incineration power generation market capacity the 5th "Bluetech Award" has additionally set up the innovative waste incineration emission control and its substitution technology. Waste incineration could jeopardize the environment without proper management, the 5th Bluetech Award would like to call for corresponding technologies from all over the world to support China’s waste management.

Over the past four years, the "Bluetech Award" has received significant support  by 80 institutes in 16 countries, including U.S.-CHINA Cleantech Center, Japan International Cooperation Agency, State of Green and Cleantech Switizerland. This year, we are once again calling for applications for the 5th Bluetech Award and seeking the best available clean air technologies to help tackle China’ air quality problem.
