BCAA Was Invited to the 3rd International Conference on Combustion, Incineration/Pyrolysis, Emission and Climate Change in KoreaPost date: 2019-09-20

On 19th and 20th September 2019, Bluetech Clean Air Alliance was invited by the Korea Association of Energy, Climate Change and Environment to the 3rd International Conference on Combustion, Incineration/Pyrolysis, Emission and Climate Change(K-CIPEC). The conference focusing on the atmospheric environment in East Asia, sharing the latest policies and technology trends, gathering multi parties to cooperate to solve the air pollution issues, In the field of atmospheric environment, energy, climate change and other relevant fields, nearly 500 experts and governors that come from 20 countries participate in this conference.

Ms. Isabelle Louis, Deputy Regional Director at UNEP Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, Mr. Jong-Soo Yoon, UNSOD Pre-Director, Jae-hoon Kim, Director of the Environmental Bureau of Gyeonggi-do and other experts and governors are participating in the conference and give a keynote speech.

Mr. Xin He, program manager at BCAA, introduced China’s Clean Air Road Map. He pointed that, “From 2012 to 2017, over 280 national level air quality-related standards, policies, and regulations were issued by the central government. A Chinese version of the air quality management system has been established, several innovative management mechanisms and modes were invented. Particularly, the establishment of regional air pollution prevention cooperative mechanism has substantially accelerated the regional air quality improvement pace.”

This event was hosted by Korea Green Foundation.
