On October 9, 2022, the first BluetechCarbon Neutrality Pioneers Award held a review advisory committee meeting. Allthe advisory members attended the meeting and reviewed the candidate winningprojects. On October 16, 2022, the selection officially ended, which alsomarked the final determination of the first Bluetech Carbon Neutrality PioneersAward and the finalists.
Based on the “Bluetech Award” launched in2015, the “Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award” was jointly launched bythe Bluetech Clean Air Alliance (BCAA) and the Greentech Financing Platform(GFP). This award is focusing on the evaluation of technology enterprises andentrepreneurial teams in new energy, green transportation, energy storage,green building, energy conservation, intelligent manufacturing and other keytracks of low carbon technologies. The Bluetech Award has been carried out forsix years, assessed over 400 advanced clean air technologies from 22 countries,established collaborations with partners across 20 countries and more than 100cooperative institutions. To support the implementation of the review, thereview team grouped the projects according to the technical field of theenterprise and established a review expert database composed of more than 40experts, including industry experts, technical experts and investors. Thesolicitation was started on January 27, 2022, and has been completed in May2022. After preliminary screening, an online roadshow, a special evaluation ofIP and technology, and other steps, the review has been finally completed inOctober 2022.
The review of the Bluetech CarbonNeutrality Pioneers Award adopted a unified evaluation framework, process,evaluation standards and data quality control requirements to evaluate thecomprehensive performance of the participating enterprises in many dimensions,such as innovation, IP competitiveness, green and low-carbon benefits, growthpotential and team strategy. The special evaluation of IP and technology showsthe focus of Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award on hard and coretechnologies, and the review team invited a number of authoritative experts inthe field of intellectual property to provide professional support. During thisevaluation phase, the award will comprehensively diagnose and evaluate theparticipating enterprises around the progressiveness of core technologies, IPprotection status, IP strategy, and management system construction,independence and stability of R & D teams, and related IP risks. Afterfierce competition, a group of outstanding Bluetech Carbon Neutrality PioneersAwards and finalists were finally selected from nearly 100 enterprises thatparticipated. The specific list of award-winning enterprises and shortlistedenterprises will be announced at the Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers AwardCeremony.
Affected by the COVID-19, the awardceremony of the Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award, originally scheduledto be held on November 12, 2022, was postponed. The specific time of the awardceremony will be notified separately.
