In July, the Eartshot Prize Team announced that one nomination ofBluetech Clean Air Alliance were chosen for The Earthshot Prize 2023 shortlist (top 15). The final results will be revealed on 7 Nov at the awarding ceremony in Singapore.
BCAA was invited to act as The Earthshot Prize's official nominator in 2020. The "Earthshot" organisers invite nominators to carry out nomination work each year and choose 5 exceptional solutions from cutting-edge projects all over the world. The Earthshot Prize platform will help promote and implement each of the winning concepts, which will each get a support award of £1 million. The chosen institutions are momentarily off-limits to the general public due to the secrecy rules of the Earthshot Prize.
Incubated within The Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales and launched by Prince William in 2020, The Earthshot Prize seeks to unleash urgent optimism and action by discovering, accelerating, awarding, spotlighting and scaling solutions that can repair and regenerate the planet. In July 2022, The Earthshot Prize was formally established as an independent charity to continue to deliver global change.
