On November 11,Bluetech Clean Air Alliance (BCAA) released the 2023 Bluetech Carbon NeutralityPioneers Award winners and finalists at the third Financial Support GreenTechnology Forum, and held an award ceremony for bluetech enterprises inBeijing International Wealth Center.
The award ceremony was hosted by Xie (Tonny) Hongxing, Director of BCAA and National Coordinator of the WIPO GREEN China Cities Acceleration Project. Mr. Xie introduced that a total of 15 enterprises (including startup teams) won the Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award, 30 enterprises (including startup teams) won the finalists award. The winners cover more than 10 technology fields, such as renewable energy, carbon capture and utilization, battery and energy storage, hydrogen and fuel cells, green materials, energy saving, circular economy, green biotechnology, energy and carbon management and electricity trading. In addition, dozens representatives of the 2022 Award winners also joined in the ceremony.

The former Deputy Director of the WIPO China Office and former Director General of the International Department of the State IP Administration of China, Lv Guoliang, said: " what I appreciate, is the award established the special assessment on IP and Technology, addressing the enterprise core technology advancement, IP protection status, IP strategy and management system construction, research and development team of independence and stability, and the related IP risk. Ma Degang, Lin Wei, Liu Yuanxia, Zhao Lijie, Zheng Xiaoyue and many other law firm partners and professionals have been deeply involved in the special IP assessment. This is a major innovation of the Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award. I think this case has the opportunity to be collected by the World Intellectual Property Organization as case studies to provide reference for more countries and groups.””
Ma Jun, chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award and President of Institute of Finance and Sustainability, introduced that the conference will not only award the 2023 "Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award", but also hold the road show and matchmaking activities in the afternoon. The subsequent roadshow and matchmaking event is one acceleration activity of the WIPO GREEN China Cities Acceleration Project. He also pointed out that these activities will further promote the exchanges and cooperation between green technology enterprises, investment institutions, and industrial representatives, and exert new vitality into the development of the green economy, and make a positive contribution to the realization of China's "dual-carbon" goal.
This event is jointly organized by BCAA and Greentech Financing Platform, and hosted by Institute of Finance and Sustainability. Over 400 guests attended the event, and more than 280,000 people watched the live broadcast.
