On February 26, 2024, the Hong Kong Green Technology Forum (2024), jointly organized by the Institute of Green Development, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, and the Greater Bay Area Green Finance Alliance, was successfully held. The forum's cooperating organization was Bluetech Clean Air Alliance.
The forum received high praise from the industry and attendees. Participants generally agreed that the forum effectively summarized information on current applications of green technology and outlined a roadmap for future green technology development. Additionally, the forum provided an important platform for promoting cross-sector collaboration, especially in the cross-application of renewable energy and digital technology in areas such as green buildings, green transportation, and the circular economy. Green technology exhibitions from around the world also provided attendees with a visual understanding of some typical green technologies that are currently available. Originally planned for 200 on-site participants, the forum received an overwhelming response from the industry, with over 1000 entrance applications received upon announcement. Furthermore, the number of online platform viewers on the 26th exceeded 20,000.
