2024 "Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award" IP Special Review LaunchedPost date: 2024-09-09

To highlight the "Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award"'s focus on hard technology, a special "IP and Technology Evaluation" segment has been established for this selection process. This segment provides a comprehensive diagnosis and evaluation of participating companies across multiple dimensions, including the advancement of their core technologies, IP protection status, IP strategy and management system development, the independence and stability of R&D teams, and related IP risks. To ensure the professionalism of the IP special review, the evaluation committee has specifically invited a group of renowned experts in the intellectual property field to lead teams in supporting the review work.

Lü Guoliang, former Deputy Director of the WIPO China Office and former Director General of the National Intellectual Property Administration, stated, "The IP special review is a major innovation of the Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award. I believe this case has the potential to be included as a classic example by the World Intellectual Property Organization for more countries and groups to reference in the future."

Since the call for applications for this year's "Bluetech Carbon Neutrality Pioneers Award" began on March 18, 2024, it has received enthusiastic responses from numerous green technology companies and teams, with nearly 100 applications submitted and over 40 projects entering the IP special review phase.

The award covers several key technological directions in the dual-carbon field, including batteries and energy storage, hydrogen energy and fuel cells, energy management and carbon assets, carbon capture and utilization, renewable energy, green new materials, energy-saving technologies (industrial energy-saving/building energy-saving/cooling), green transportation, waste management and recycling (circular economy), and other technology areas.
