Handbook Introduction: Under the framework of the WIPO GREEN City Acceleration Project Beijing Pilot, the China Greentech IP Management Clinic (IPMC) launched its second edition on November 25, 2025, building upon the success of the first one. The IPMC is hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), supported by the Beijing Intellectual Property Office, and organized by the Bluetech Clean Air Alliance (BCAA), IPMC aims at supporting greentech companies in utilizing IP tools to accelerate business growth, tackle climate change, and advance global sustainable development. The mentor team of the 2nd IPMC comprises four international mentors and eight Chinese mentors, all of whom are renowned lawyers and experts in their fields. Throughout the upcoming phase of sustained one-on-one mentoring sessions, they will provide targeted and professional IP guidance to the participating enterprises. This IPMC has selected 25 green technology enterprises across China, comprising of leading technology companies in climate mitigation areas such as fusion technology, hydrogen energy, perovskite solar, CCUS, and synthetic biology.
