The Bluesky Defense Fund was established jointly by SEE Foundation, Energy Foundation, and Clean Air Alliance of China on 22 September 2013. The fund was setup to support local efforts from environmental think-tanks and NGOs to improve China’s air quality. On 6 November, the assessment results of first round application had revealed and 9 projects proposals were accepted.
