The National Development and Reform Committee, Ministry of Environmental Protection, and National Energy Administration released a notice on Supporting Policy for Coal-fired Power Plants with Ultra Low Emission on December 9th, announcing subsidies for coal-fired plants which are “ultra-low emission” (emissions level reaches the limits of gas-fired generation units).
