According to the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Beijing is revising its Air Pollution Emergency Plan. The new plan will consider geographical features of different districts, and take emergency responses accordingly. During heavily polluted days, vehicles with higher emissions will be restricted first. Air monitoring stations will be doubled to around 70 to improve the monitoring network.
