On August 17th and 18th, VOCs Pollution Control and Prevention for Jing-Jin-Ji Region and Monitoring Technology Development Forum was held in Tianjin. The forum was focused on policy interpretation, industrial demands on VOCs controltechnology and face to face discussion with technology provdiers, with four sections – interpretation of the newest policy, study of the control and prevention technologies, unveiling the industry needs and training on the technologies.
Mr, Yang Jintian, the former Deputy Chief Engineer of Chinese Academy For Environmental Planning (CAEP), interpreted the joint prevention and control mechanism of combined air pollution in Jing-Jin-Ji area, from the requirements of joint control and prevention to the achievement to date and present problems. At last, he proposed the steps for further improvements, indicating that as going deeper, the pollutant reduction work should adopt delicacy management, multi-pollutants control and multi-sources management.
