China to Spend 16 Billion in Air Pollution Control in 13 ProvincesPost date: 2017-11-23

According to MEP, Chinese central government has raised special funds of 49.7 billion yuan (about 7.5 billion US dollars) this year to target key environmental issues. Sixteen billion yuan of the fund is reserved for air pollution control in 13 provinces in the regions of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the neighboring areas, the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, and six billion of which is dedicated to support the clean energy heating transition in northern China.
