In 2018, BCAA was entrusted to work on several clean air technology and management related research programs by Beijing Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, World Bank, etc.. On January 2019, Case Study on innovative technologies for Air Pollution Prevention, Effectiveness Evaluation of Implementing the ten measures of air pollution prevention and control five-year control measures in Jing-Jin-Ji and surrounding areas and other programs are successfully concluded.
On commission of Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning, Case Study on innovative technologies for Air Pollution Prevention is a special research subject within discharge permission technology system research program. Based on the air pollution technology demands in key areas, this program analyzed the applicability, environmental impact and economic variables of innovative air pollution prevention & control technologies and cases using Bluetech Clean Air Technology Assessment Methodology. This study provides suggestions about how to promote and evaluate the excellent air pollution prevention technologies which are more compliant for the national conditions.
Cooperated with Beijing Environmental Monitoring Center, BCAA was entrusted by Beijing Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau to carry out the study on Effectiveness Evaluation of Implementing the ten measures of air pollution prevention and control five-year control measures in Jing-Jin-Ji and surrounding areas. This program collected and analyzed the air quality progress from 2013 to 2017 in Jing-Jin-Ji and surrounding areas, combined with both domestic and overseas experiences, creatively established the regional air quality management cooperation mechanism assessment index system, concluded the regional cooperation outcomes, evaluated the performance of key regional emission reduction measures. This program summarized the good and bad on the past regional cooperation works and provided the suggestion for next steps to further intensify regional cooperation.
