中国科学院生态环境研究中心研究员,大气污染控制中心主任,博士生导师,东京大学理学博士,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者。主要研究方向为环境催化和非均相大气化学过程,系统研究大气复合污染形成机理、催化剂与催化反应体系设计和大气污染物催化净化新原理、新方法及其应用。发表《环境催化——原理及应用》专著一部,学术论文210余篇(SCI论文180余篇),其中以第一作者或责任作者在国内外著名学术刊物包括PNAS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Commun.,上发表论文150余篇。回国后申请国家发明专利40余项,其中已经授权16项,有7项专利技术转让给企业实施应用。2004年在中国科学院百人计划终期评估中被评为优秀,同年获得国家杰出青年基金资助;2005年获得GM(通用)中国科技成就奖,培养的博士生3人获得中国科学院优秀博士论文奖励;2006入选新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选;2008年获科技奥运先进个人称号。2011年获国家技术发明二等奖,2012年获政府特殊津贴。

主要学术兼职:中国化学会催化委员会委员,中国化学会环境化学专业委员会委员,现任或曾任国际、国内学术期刊编委/顾问委员:Catalysis Today,Catalysis Letters,Topics in catalysis,《环境化学》,《环境工程学报》,《工业催化》等,任Catalysis Surveys from Asia副主编。多次组织国际和双边会议,并4次客座编辑Catalysis Today国际会议特刊。
